Ford Mustang Trim Levels

Ford Mustang Mach-E vs. Hyundai IONIQ 5

There’s nothing quite like taking the wheel of a car with all-American muscle. With the 2024 Ford Mustang, you get just that. With many Mustang trim levels, though, you’ll have to figure out which one you want before you get behind the wheel.

For Buena Park, Long Beach, and Orange County, CA, area drivers, our team here at Norm Reeves Ford Superstore has set out to help you determine which of the Ford Mustang trim levels is a fit for you.

Mustang EcoBoost

Mustang EcoBoost

First up, we have the Mustang EcoBoost. This model is available in both a traditional fastback body and a convertible body, offering the option of opening your driving experience and letting the wind rip through your cabin.

Under the hood of this trim level, you have a 2.3L 4-cylinder engine working to provide a powerful driving experience. This engine is equipped with 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, arming you with plenty of muscle behind the 10 and two. The engine also comes mated to a 10-speed SelectShift® Automatic transmission with paddle shifters, offering premier acceleration and an extremely sporty driving experience.

Inside the cabin of the Mustang EcoBoost, you get a SYNC® 4 multimedia setup with a 13.2-inch touchscreen display, making it easy to stay effortlessly connected behind the wheel.

Mustang EcoBoost Premium

Mustang EcoBoost Premium

Next in the 2024 Ford Mustang lineup is the EcoBoost Premium trim, which again, is offered in a traditional fastback body as well as a convertible one.

Performance-wise, the EcoBoost Premium will stack up pretty similarly to the previous trim level. However, you’ll find that it offers available Brembo™ 6-piston front brake calipers with large rotors, enhancing the performance you have in the braking and handling department.

Inside, you’ll have some enhanced maneuverability. With the 50/50 split-bench folding rear seat, you can fold down the back row if you need additional storage space.

Not only is the Mustang fun, it’s also functional in the case of this trim level!

Mustang GT

Mustang GT

Next up, we have the Mustang GT. This model ups the ante under the hood, where you find a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine. This engine comes ready to pump out as much as 486 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, providing unreal acceleration and power behind the wheel.

This model also comes with a manual 6-speed transmission, affording control over your driving experience.

Mustang GT Premium

The Mustang GT Premium comes in a traditional fastback body as well as a convertible one, too. So, again, you’ll have some great choices in this regard.

From a performance perspective, you can expect a similarly great ride as the GT model detailed above.

Inside, though, you’ll get standard heated and cooled front seats. This will provide you with added comfort, whether it’s a hot summer afternoon or a cool winter morning. You’ll also have the option to add RECARO® leather-trimmed sport seats to this trim for added style.

Mustang Dark Horse and Dark Horse

Mustang Dark Horse and Dark Horse Premium

As you would guess from their names, the Mustang Dark Horse and Mustang Dark Horse Premium are quite intimidating out on the roads.

These models sport a unique style with tons of exclusive exterior features. Plus, they come with the roaring performance to match. Their Gen-4 5.0L Coyote™ V8 engine is a head turner with the thunderous sound it produces as you hit the gas.
