Performance of the Ford Escape
Powering the Ford Escape is a 1.5L EcoBoost®. This creates 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. With its Auto-Start Stop Technology and 8-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain is able to provide great gas mileage while driving throughout the area.
There are also other engine options you can choose from, including the available hybrid engine that gets even better gas mileage, and the available 250 horsepower 2.0L EcoBoost® engine that offers even more powerful performance.
Interior Space
With 104 cubic feet of passenger volume, the Ford Escape provides a comfortable ride for you and up to four other passengers. Each row is also supplied with a great deal of headroom and legroom. On top of that, there’s additional room to pack up supplies in the back of your Escape.
Use the rear cargo space to fit luggage, coolers, and sporting equipment, or groceries and other items you bought while out shopping. If you need more room for cargo, the rear seats can be folded flat. Doing this will give you the capability to transport even larger items with a maximum of 65.4 cubic feet of cargo volume inside the Escape.

Of all the Ford Escape trim levels, the Titanium offers the most luxurious ride. In this trim level, you’ll get to enjoy a first-class driving experience on the leather-trimmed front bucket seats while your favorite songs play through the 10-speaker B&O™ Sound System by Bang & Olufsen.
